The Grand Ledge Food Bank is in need of 8 oz plastic bottles, if you have some that can be repurposed please rinse them out and leave them in the grocery cart in the church lobby. Thanks!
Immanuel currently is mentoring elementary students at Wacousta Elementary School through Kids Hope USA. There is a need for a mentor for a third-grade boy, if interested in getting involved in this ministry please contact Lyn Danes ASAP at 243-4730. Lyn will explain the program further and train you.
The Kitchen Update/Remodel Team met on November 4 and is scheduled to meet next on January 6 at 6:30p.m. We will be looking at updating the Kitchen Policy to post in the kitchen. As we meet in the new year our plans include addressing any current on-going kitchen needs, work on a wants/needs list for the remodel and get moving in the direction of a rough design for a remodel and to continue to pursue all of the details related to a remodel of the kitchen.
New tables for the fellowship area have been purchased. Recent conversations about the need to purchase light weight rectangular tables for the fellowship area got a quick response! Thanks to various memorial funds from Immanuel families we were able to purchase 6 new light weight lifetime tables on sale, which will make setting up for events much easier. Thanks to those who coordinated this and again thanks to the families with memorial funds that were donated to this very practical useful purchase for ongoing ministries.
